I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving! I certainly did. It was so nice getting to hang out with my family. My sister had her wisdom teeth taken out the first day of break and was so pitiful the whole time. It was uneventful without someone your age to pal around with! Anyway, instead of black friday shopping I decided to do a lot of shooting! I had the chance to take photos of two awesome families. It was my first time doing family sessions so I was a bit nervous. On friday mom and I head out to Fuquay to capture the Connelly family. They are great family friends and I'm so glad they asked me to photograph them! I was glad my Mom decided to come along because she got to catch up with her friends, I got to spend time with her, and I got a second pair of eyes to help me shoot! They asked if their dog could be included in some of the photos, and though I was a bit weary about it Cooper did great. He was so calm and collected....so awesome! The Connellys had some great locations to go to as well, just right in their back yard. We went to a water mill and it was the perfect location! Here are my favorite shots from the day!
The Saturday after Thanksgiving I had my second family session with the Dubiels. Sheila asked me to take photos back in April, but I just started my job at Outback then and couldn't take many weekends off work. I'm glad that we finally had a chance to meet and even though it was very brisk I had a great time! We took around 150 photos in 20 minutes...that's quite a feat! I look forward to shooting them again in the spring and getting to know them better. They are such a photogenic and friendly family! Heres my favorites from their shoot!
